Wedding

Audrey and Carey are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet! Their deep love for each other is truly inspiring and we were so honored to be able to capture their photos and film at Sky Bistro atop the Banff Gondola. Their day was full of stunning mountain views, beautiful details, and lots of emotion. Plus – they were able to include their beloved dog in the fun throughout the day!

Emotional Mountain View Wedding

We started the day with some getting ready and detail shots. Once everyone was ready, we traveled to the famous Bow Falls for Audrey and Carey’s first look. With the river flowing and the beautiful natural landscape in the background, their emotional first look had everyone wiping away tears. 

After taking some portraits around the waterfall with their bridal party, we all rode the gondola to get to their ceremony spot. At the top of Sulphur Mountain is the luxurious Sky Bistro where the ceremony and reception were held. Their ceremony was on an outdoor patio with 360-degree views of mountain peaks. The ceremony was timed perfectly to occur during golden hour as the sun was going down – it was pure magic. There was not a dry eye in the crowd as they exchanged their vows. Romantic Wedding Reception at Sky Bistro

We took advantage of the views and lighting and captured portraits of Audrey and Carey before heading in for the reception, which was a complete party! Audrey had changed into a different dress for the dance, and they had some really cute details like a cake topper mini replica of their sweet doggo!
